Paris Fashion Week: Miu Miu Fall-Winter 2012

As usually done for a while, Prada presented her collection at home in the Fashion Week in Milan, but reserves the second mark, more youthful, for the Paris Fashion Week. Thus, Miu Miu was present at the closing day of the great Parisian catwalk, showing a collection for the woman who works with a number of suits, beyond imitating masculine aesthetics, the appropriate and becomes novel and feminine. A colorful parade where psychedelic prints are the leitmotif reinterpreted in every look and every garment.

The Miu Miu fashion show in Paris Fashion Weekconsisted of suit jackets. A certain stains futuristic collection, but coupled with the retro, as Miuccia Prada acknowledges that it is a time when women are tempted to look to the past, so she prefers to look ahead, to translate it into their creations.

The style is reminiscent of the men carrying the 70, but full of prints and color combinations. The costumes are accompanied by silk shirts and scarves placed as a tie. The jacket is lengthened or shortened depending on model, with Edwardian-style pants (straight, ankle-length) or skirts, sometimes with a very short flight. Miu Miu’s proposal is similar to its “sister”, Prada, but adds color and includes other elements such as patterned British dresses.

Virtually all parts of the collection are printed with drawings or British pop art style as houndstooth or plaid, mixed together. The colors are based more we will see this winter: brown, maroon, land, but combined with striking prints in bright colors like green, turquoise, red, yellow, orange and pink, resulting in a kaleidoscope collection.

These dramatic looks were complemented with makeup crislates shocking and attached to the face. As for accessories, beautiful style portfolios “doctor bag” and lizard-skin boots with chunky heels and wedges.

On the catwalk , you could see several “angels” of Victoria’s Secret, like Doutzen Kroes, Anne Vyalitsyna and  Miranda Kerr and of British supermodel Jacquetta Wheeler. In the front row highlighted the presence of designer Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and singer Katy Perry.
